Ann-Sophie Brenk (AI Business Lead at AI Factory Austria AI:AT and Board member of W-HIT Women in Health IT) moderated a discussion on “What's Next in Healthcare - AI as a Driver of Change”. The panelists shared their experience and expectations from a founders and business point of view, a patient advocate's perspective, as ENT specialist and surgeon, and from the research field. They talked about the use of AI to facilitate administrative tasks, and about areas where AI may support doctors in their medical and clinical practice, with a request to involve patients, scientists, innovators, stakeholders in the implementation process. It’s necessary to continue an open dialogue about the benefits and risks of AI in Healthcare, but also to foster collaborations to use AI as a positive driver of change.
